Q: How do you help your team members achieve success?
A: Nicole worked as a strategic planner for years before we started ASEA, so almost from the first day, we had a plan in place that would help us build our business—and help our team members build their businesses as well. That plan is based on five simple principles:
- Keep it simple.
- Invest in yourself.
- Build leaders.
- Create a community.
- Build the infrastructure to make it all happen.
Q: What do you mean by “keep it simple?”
A: We have a simple, clear path for people to follow that guides them one step at a time toward success. And we never give anyone more than three things to focus on at a time. When they’re coming on board, we give them three steps to take. When they want to start growing, we give them three steps to take. When they bring someone else onto the team, we give them three steps. The genius is in keeping it simple.
Q: Why is building leaders so important to you?
A: We knew we had a great health science technology that did things that nothing else did. But then we realized that we could empower common people to become successful, reach their full potential, and shine bright—which is the name of our team. So many times, people who are struggling with their health are also struggling financially. They can’t work, they can’t pay for their treatment; it’s a vicious cycle. To be able to provide people with something that not only assists their health but also helps them financially is life changing for us.
Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who wanted to be successful with ASEA?
A: Focus on being you and maximize your strengths, then make sure you’re part of a system that provides support in your areas of weakness. When you work together as a team, everyone succeeds. We are where we are today because of our incredible team. Very few people get to live the life of flexibility and freedom that we do. We have big dreams. We want to do a lot, achieve a lot, give a lot. That means we have a lot we need to get done.
