Q: What was your ah-ha moment where you realized you couldn’t pass on the ASEA opportunity?
A: Seeing Trish’s and Deni’s success with a proven system combined with the simplicity of a singular product and remarkable founders with huge vision, heart, and skills we couldn’t even have dreamed ever existed in network marketing. So many of the leaders here were rising out of the ashes of our former company. It looked like we could accomplish anything. I couldn’t resist.
Q: How has ASEA changed your life?
A: I had let my physical therapy license lapse, and there was no way to get it back in time to ward off financial collapse. Marcia had to regularly choose between food or gas or clothes, and the leftover food from things like school auctions and student trips were like the world’s biggest Christmas bonus. She would lie awake, worrying about our marriageable daughters not having any hope of a wedding. But this last year, both girls had fairytale weddings for which we were able to pay cash.
Q: How can you erase self-limiting beliefs?
A: I play the “what-if game” with Marcia and work with her on the things that are possible. We limit the things that need to be done so we don’t paint ourselves into a corner. We pray, read the Word, and listen to Christian radio, stay fit, get enough sleep, and eat healthy.
Q: Elaborate on the following: If you want to change your results, you have to change your thinking first.
A: We need to give ourselves permission to dream and to open up about the good we can do, speak it often so that our own subconscious and heart hear our own voice say it.
Q: What is the most important thing you do for your business on a daily basis?
A: Believe in the power of what we represent. Teach and reiterate to others what they can become and help them see a better self than they know how to envision by themselves. Stay on it always: Think, focus on what can be and never give up.
