Q: Why did you decide to join ASEA?
A: We were familiar with network marketing when we first heard about ASEA, and at different times, we all went to ASEA meetings. We listened to the speakers, learned about the science, and then decided to use the product ourselves; we wanted to see if it worked. Each of us felt better, but Dad especially benefited from it. He gained weight, his complexion changed, and he looked and felt better than he had in years. That’s all it took. We started as a family; that’s why we emphasize our company name—Amiris—instead of using individual names. Amiris embodies the team spirit we have embraced as we have worked to build our business.
Q: What is your philosophy about building your business?
A: Asian culture is all about good hospitality, so we want to give people a place where they can come and belong, sit, and enjoy. We opened an ASEA office in Los Angeles where people can come. They can try the product, talk to us and others, experience what ASEA is all about. Seeing is believing, and trying is the ultimate way for people to discover how amazing ASEA is. They can do that in our office. We also hold seminars and meetings there. We don’t focus on making money. For us, it’s about helping people understand and feel good about the product before they invest. Sometimes people join ASEA and buy product, and sometimes they don’t. It doesn’t matter to us. We just want to make a welcoming space for people and empower them to build the lives for themselves that they envision.
Q: How has ASEA changed your life?
A: Well, certainly the fact that our business has bloomed has been a blessing. But for us, it’s truly not about the money. With ASEA, we feel joy in our daily lives as we ourselves have gained health and purpose, and as we share that abundance of joy and health with others. We believe that everything we receive has been given to us, and our goal in life is to give back in abundance. To be able to do that through ASEA is a great honor and joy.
