Alan Wang 王譽霖
Walk into one of Alan Wang’s meetings—they’re easy to find; he holds three every week— and you’ll instantly feel energized. You might also feel a sense of family. The room is filled with team members who know each other and who care about each other. They interact like old friends, and they welcome new ones. There’s a happy, comfortable atmosphere.
And it’s far from quiet. Slogans and mantras shouted from stage are echoed by a fully engaged audience. Crowds are on their feet in every city Alan visits. It’s a dynamism that was born decades ago, when Alan had his own individual awakening to the possibilities the network marketing business model held.
Alan was working a government job in Taiwan at the time and had just gotten a promotion, which moved him to a new location. There, he met people who were building networking businesses.
“At first, I didn’t think it was going to go well for them; they weren’t making much money,” he remembers. “But after six months, they were making more than I was.” Intrigued, Alan decided to attend a meeting. It was a large event with an upline leader who had flown in from the United States. Her demonstration included business cards— thousands of them, each with the name of someone in her downline.
“Do you know how you can build a successful business?” she asked, throwing the business cards into the air. “You need a team.” That’s when it dawned on Alan that one person can’t do it alone. “You need to have the mindset of owning a franchise,” he thought. He was both surprised and inspired, and he wanted to do the same thing. Alan set a goal to reach beyond what he had seen his friend do. He would have to quit his government job to have the time to do it, something that deeply worried his extended family. They asked pointed questions as to why he would leave a secure, desirable position that paid well.
Unshaken, Alan started learning everything he could about network marketing. He attended self-development classes, opportunity meetings, and marketing seminars. After about a year, he dived into his first opportunity, or as he calls it, his first pot of gold.
Over the next two decades, Alan worked hard to build large organizations in two companies, hitting his goal once in the first company and exceeding it every month in his second, before coming to ASEA. Alan knew when he first found ASEA REDOX that it would be a great opportunity. “This is the most unique product I’ve seen in my 20+ years in the industry,” he says. “No one has anything like it. It’s magical.”
Still, his decision to build an ASEA business was not a whim. “I’m very sensitive about this industry,” Alan explains, adding wryly, “I know 100% more about it than other people do.” Alan has been able to grow his ASEA business to the point that he’s more than doubled his income from his previous opportunity.* He builds his business on principles of honesty and integrity, and he always puts people first.
“My biggest motivation is to see my downline be successful,” he says. With a goal to help 100 people reach the rank of Diamond Executive and beyond and to help 100,000 families, Alan focuses on unifying his team, keeping people motivated, and teaching them to believe in their own potential to succeed. “My team is like a family to me,” Alan says. “I want them all to be successful. One of my Triple Diamonds is making a great income, and she just got a house. I can see her feeling more confident. I love seeing that. And she is just one of many examples.”
With the full support of his family, Alan’s work schedule is rigorous. He starts every day early with a 30-minute run, and then the planning begins. He touches base with his leaders early in the day. “My leaders are my friends,” he asserts. “We motivate each other.” Afternoons and evenings are filled with meetings— opportunity meetings, training meetings, client meetings.
“ASEA is all about spreading love to people,” Alan explains. “In my trainings, I don’t go deep into the science of the product. I keep it simple. All people need to know is that it’s good for them. My bigger focus is on helping people believe that they can be their best selves.”
In every city Alan visits, he brings that passion with him. “Who wants health and self-reliance?” he shouts. “ASEA can change your life!”
